Missing my Suture Removal / Implant Second Stage Appointment.

Q.

A) I recently got a tooth extracted and the stitches are still there.

B) My first stage of implant was done 3 months back and now i am due for the second stage.

What should i do?

A.

Do not worry. Even if you leave the stitches for long they do not cause any problem as long as you maintain good oral hygiene. At the same time incase the stitches have loosened up over time and are irritating your lip, cheek or tongue please call us and we will schedule an appointment to cut the stitches away.

B.

Implant second stage is not considered a Dental emergency and should be postponed till the lockdown is over. Many a time for an out station patient we do the second stage after an year on there yearly vacation time. Incase of any pain / swelling / loosening of the visible part of implant / redness around the implant please call and schedule a visit with us at the earliest.
